The Workshop takes place in the Auditoire Marcell Jenny building of the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève (shown on the left), which includes an area dedicated to temporary exhibits, the Mar da Palha auditorium and the Tejo restaurant.

Getting to the Conference
Public transportation in Lisbon is quite easy to use and very affordable. The front desk of your hotel will have maps available. The best way is to get a ticket on the subway ticket selling machines. Each ticket is €1,50. Subway venue stop is Oriente station, from there you can walk 5 minutes to Oceanarium.

Arriving from the Airport
Lisboa is easy to get to. It is a short flight away from most European cities, and is just as easily accessible by road, railway or sea.
On Arrival: If you flew to Lisbon, you’ll need to get to the city from the airport. The best way is to take the subway on the subway station at the airport. The venue is just 3 stops away (venue stop is Oriente station) and a ticket is €1.50.
Metro
Lisbon’s Metro is a fast underground traveling option between several city locations. The airport is served by the terminal station of Metro’s red line (station Aeroporto).
Single ticket price: €1.50 (valid for one hour after obliteration, on Metro and Carris buses)
One day ticket price: €6.45 (valid for 24 hours after the first obliteration, on Metro and Carris buses)
Note: Buying tickets for the first time requires the acquisition of an electronic card, which costs €0.50.

Taxi
There are two taxi stands within the perimeter of the airport’s main terminal, one is located at the arrivals floor and the other at the departures floor (above).
All taxis in Lisbon are metered and the fares are the same, regardless of the taxi company. The cost of traveling by taxi is given by a minimum fare cost plus a variable cost that depends on traveling distance, waiting time and usage of the baggage boot. An estimated travel cost by taxi from the airport to the EUVIP Venue and nearby hotels, is 7.5 euros.
Regular bus lines
There are also a few regular bus lines serving the airport: 705, 708, 744 and 750.

Several national and international trains arrive in Lisboa every day in Gare do Oriente, which is very close to the EUVIP venue and nearby hotels.
